The unique charm of the Dream of Rose design lies in its deliberate incorporation of the new-classical style preferred by the homeowner. Elements such as classical wallpaper, rococo tones, carved walls, and distinguished lighting are used to create an aesthetic that exudes elegance and charm. The space is carefully planned to satisfy the homeowner's imaginary space and smooth living functions, resulting in a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.
Utilizing three-dimensional carvings, joint lines, Roman columns, and arches, the Dream of Rose design delicately showcases the exquisite vocabulary of European elegance and classicism. The division of space pattern is strategically planned, with the inclusion of a porch cabinet to create a more transparent and spacious public domain. This eliminates the unfavorable configuration of the original entrance hall and shapes a feeling of generosity and elegance.
In the public domain, a striking aqua-blue long sofa adorned with bright velvet is paired with an ivory white colorful carpet and an empty golden edge coffee table, creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The Dream of Rose design also features a multifunctional room that hides a lift bed within a classical cabinet, serving as both a reception room for important guests and a guest room. The water blue curtains in this room create a fresh visual experience, adding to the overall charm of the design.
The Dream of Rose design was realized in October 2020 in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Extensive research and attention to detail were integral to the design process. The entrance, for example, showcases rich layers through the use of materials such as black and gold interlaced marble flooring. Classical carvings on the mirror surface, complemented by tea mirrors and grey mirrors, express a noble breath. The planning of a double-sided cabinet creates an independent large porch corridor space, serving as a buffer after entry and providing ample storage cabinets for the convenience of the homeowner.
The bedroom in the Dream of Rose design features light pink wallpaper and pure white slats as the base, complemented by pink and purple furniture. This combination creates a romantic and subtle atmosphere, perfectly interpreting the concept of a romantic new-classical light mansion.
The Dream of Rose design, with its attention to detail, unique aesthetic, and functional considerations, has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that exhibit outstanding creativity, technical skill, and contribute to quality of life improvements.
